Insect Farming  ·  Robotics & AI

Hackathon+

Data wizards and AI enthusiasts got a chance to showcase skills and make an impact on real-world challenges with O(DACS) hackathon series. Over the next three months, participants will have the opportunity to participate in three one-day hackathons inspired by generous sponsors, and apply their knowledge to solve real-life problems.

The first CoRoSect Hackahton, held on March 18th, was organized by FieldLab Robotics. It brought together 50 students from the Department of Advanced Computing Science at Maastricht University to collaborate and develop innovative solutions for different challenges. Their goal was to tackle the challenges of robotization in insect farms, using cutting-edge technologies and creative problems-problem solving.

The next hackathons are scheduled for April 22nd and May 13th, and participants can earn points based on a given metric at each event. The public leaderboard will refresh after each hackathon, and the top three contestants will take home a prize pool. With the hackathon series offering such a unique opportunity to showcase talent and problem-solving abilities, it’s sure to be a thrilling event for all involved.

So if you’re a data wizard or AI enthusiast, don’t miss out on this chance to make a real-world impact and contribute to solving some of the most pressing issues facing our world today. Join us for the O(DACS) hackathon series and be a part of the future of innovation https://o.dacs.events/
