Privacy Policy Statement

CoRoSect is committed to user privacy.

The policy on protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the CoRoSect Portal is based on the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This law impacts EU-based organizations and requires any person or company that operates a website/portal to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website/portal. This privacy policy must state which information is being collected and notify those individuals or companies with whom their information is being shared.

The CoRoSect Portal aims to connect insect farmers, end users, technology providers, and more. To do this effectively, we put great importance to the careful handling of your data.

 

Who can see your data?

The owner of the CoRoSect portal and controller of your data is Foodscale Hub, based in Belgrade, Serbia. To reach Foodscale Hub, you can send an email to hello@corosect.eu. 

The CoRoSect portal may provide links to third-party sites. In order to use third party content on our website and portal, you may need to accept their specific terms and conditions, including their cookie policies over which we have no control.

 

Why do we need your data?

The main purposes for which we collect and process your details are:

  • To provide you with relevant updates with any relevant information related to our technologies and solutions; 
  • To provide the service or information you have requested (such as attendance to meetings and events, newsletter subscription, etc.)
  • Statistical purposes and aggregated insights
  • To gather feedback. 

What will we do, or not do, with your data?

Your personal data will only be used in the context of the CoRoSect portal. Foodscale Hub makes every effort to protect your data. Only registered parties will be able to view the data that you fill in. Unregistered parties will not have access and your data will not be sold to third parties.

 

How will you use our platform?

When you access CoRoSect Portal, you are at least 18 years old. Without permission, you will not send personal data obtained on the platform to third parties. Also, you are aware that the other registered parties on the platform can contact you.

To have a fully functional portal, we store your:

  • – Email
  • – Company

 

Do we use cookies?

This portal uses cookies by Google Analytics, a service of web analysis provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Cookies (small text files stored locally on your computer) are used to help analyse how people use this portal. The collected information, including your IP-address will be stored on servers. Foodscale Hub will use this information to generate reports on the portal usage. Foodscale Hub will only share the collected information with third parties when legally required to do so. Your IP-address will not be combined with that of other websites or other data sources that are available to Foodscale Hub.

 

What are your rights?

You have the right to access your personal data and/or to improve it, add to it, delete it, or block certain parts of it at any time. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, when processing is based on consent, as described above.
