
CoRoSect partners authored an article title: “A lightweight MES using RAMI4.0 on the example of Smart Insect Farms”. The article presents a cost-effective, lightweight RAMI4.0-compliant Manufacturing Operation System (MES) tailored for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), using the CoRoSect project’s architecture to ensure interoperability, integrating a repository pattern for data sharing through Asset Administration Shells (AASs), and suggesting enhancements for edge or public cloud use, with practicality demonstrated through initial pilot implementations.
