CoRoSect booth was a lively place for discussion and engagement with the interested audience, ranging from farmers, software and hardware engineers to synergistic project representatives. Opportunities for joint project activities were explored and insights shared. Notably, informal discussions sparked an interest in addressing potential solutions for insect farming, optimizing insect rearing processes, and advancing the development of innovative technology.
Furthermore, CoRoSect held a joint workshop with the sister project Robs4Crops, titled „Effective Application Scenarios: Robotic Solutions for Crop Weeding, Spraying and Insect Farming Automation “. The workshop was quite interactive, because our partners from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) showcased how the Visual Inspection System detects insects and measures their size and colour by bringing real insects for demonstration.
