KU Leuven is currently by far the largest university in Belgium in terms of research funding and expenditure and is a charter member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU). KU Leuven conducts fundamental and applied research in all academic disciplines with a clear international orientation. In Horizon 2020, KU Leuven currently has been approved more than 450 projects and is ranked fifth HES institution with regard to a number of signed grants. The KU Leuven Centre for IT & IP Law (CiTiP) is a research centre at the Faculty of Law of KU Leuven, with a staff of over 40 researchers specialised in the legal and ethical aspects of ICT innovation.
KU Leuven will lead the analysing of Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications (ELSI) associated with the automation of farming tasks and human-machine collaboration.

CoRoSect consortium is a diverse and dynamic network of partners, representing key players in insect farming, pure robotic science and engineering, sustainability-driven innovation practices as well as collaborative business models.
CoRoSect is developing a novel Cognitive Robotic System for Digitalized and Networked (Automated) Insect Farms. We bring leading-edge robotics, AI, and some of the best experts in our industry - to help embrace automation and wave goodbye to the monotonous and mundane tasks.
