Invertapro – Norway
Invertapro is an insect rearing and breeding company based in Norway, focusing on end-to-end processes around yellow mealworm (Tenebrio molitor) production. Founded in 2017, its goal is to build towards a circular economy by utilising insects to efficiently process and upcycle locally available organic side-streams into feed and food ingredients and other by-products. Although having primarily focused on Tenebrio molitor, Invertapro recognises a strong potential of an insect portfolio geared towards maximising utility for various resources available.
Invertapro’s role in the project is as an end-user.
