Netherlands & Germany
AGVR is a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality industrial systems. AGV stands for AGV Automatic Guided Vehicle. The most common vehicle types provided by AGVR are Forklift-, Crawl Under-, and Tractor AGVs. Today AGVR holds offices in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Aachen, Germany and employs 25 engineers. It has installed over 60 AGV systems, working in 3 or 5 shift operation, at multinational companies in food, automotive, pharmaceutics, glass and paper industry, in the EU, USA, Australia and South Korea.
AGVR will be the main supplier of AGVs within the CoRoSect project (within Cognitive robots and smart mechatronics). AGVR will supply an AGV system that will transport the containers in the insect farms including autonomous and safe navigation, self-localization and mapping for AGVs (Robotic actions planning and control). Next to the vehicles, the system will comprise the computer systems for traffic control and container handling management (Farm-level modelling and orchestration).
CoRoSect consortium is a diverse and dynamic network of partners, representing key players in insect farming, pure robotic science and engineering, sustainability-driven innovation practices as well as collaborative business models.
CoRoSect is developing a novel Cognitive Robotic System for Digitalized and Networked (Automated) Insect Farms. We bring leading-edge robotics, AI, and some of the best experts in our industry - to help embrace automation and wave goodbye to the monotonous and mundane tasks.
