CoRoSect at Synergy Days: Visit us at our Booth and Workshop!+

On the 4th and 5th of October, CoRoSect will participate in Synergy Days in Thessaloniki, Greece. This will be an ideal opportunity for the project to showcase its latest developed technology to the relevant players within the insect farming and robotic area.

During these two days of event, the CoRoSect team will be present at the exhibition stand, where it will hold a joint workshop with its sister project Robs4Crops. Both projects are aiming to transform agriculture through the integration of robotic and automation technologies.

What Can You Expect at the Workshop at Synergy Days?

During our workshop presented by experts, the audience will get comprehensive insight into the technologies and achievements of the project.

CoRoSect will showcase technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) system and the automatic visual inspection system (VIS). The automatic VIS uses Artificial Intelligence to automatically detect insects and measure their size and colour. When it comes to VR, CoRoSect will present VR glasses and sensory gloves used for training workers in programming robots for new tasks on the farm.

About the Project

CoRoSect, funded by the EU, focuses on merging insect biology and robotics to optimise insect rearing and all involved processes, as well as to replace physically and cognitively demanding tasks with automated procedures. Large-scale pilots across Europe will evaluate the project’s advancements in rearing commonly occurring insect species. By leveraging robotics and automation, CoRoSect aims to contribute to a secure and sustainable food supply by embracing insect farming.

If you wish to participate and visit the CoRoSect project at the Synergy Days event, register here, and remember that attendance is free!
