Another interesting news at CoRoSect! Collaboration of many different areas of science, robotics, insects, artificial intelligence, human input, etc., are being significant contributors across different stages of insect production. This synergetic environment shares and undertakes different processing and manipulation tasks. CoRoSect system offers a universal solution that can be also adapted to different insects species. In addition, it is an underlying mission to set up dynamic work among all the respected fields.
Also, CoRoSect is building a sophisticated robotic system, with the aim to support insects’ lifecycle. The system is based on quality management, intervention, harvesting and waste management. Furthermore, specific automatic robotic-based procedures should replace repetitive, cognitively and physically demanding tasks, which includes crate transferring and handling, environmental conditions monitoring, larvae detection and separation, and insects feeding.
Technical solution of CoRoSect relies on the Industry 4.0 architecture model, in order to create the most adequate environment for all phases of the insects’ life cycle inside insect farms.
